How we protect your data
This page is maintained by the Kora Sales Fellowship team to answer common security and privacy questions about the application portal. It describes controls that are currently enabled on the app. It is not an independent audit, certification, or attestation.
Authentication & account access
Applicants, fellows, mentors, and staff sign in with email and password or Google. Sessions are issued by our application backend and stored only on your device. Account roles (applicant, mentor, assessor, admin) are stored server-side and checked on every privileged action — they are never decided by the browser.
Password reset codes are time-limited. We never email you a plaintext password.
Row-level access controls
Applicants and fellows can only read and edit their own application, submissions, and messages. Mentors can only see the apprentices assigned to them. Assessment scores, AI evaluations, and mentor notes can only be written by the scoring pipeline and assigned reviewers — applicants cannot set or alter their own scores.
Internal scoring weights and programme configuration are restricted to admin staff.
Data in transit & at rest
All traffic to the portal is served over HTTPS. Application data, uploaded resumes, videos, and recordings are stored in managed databases and private cloud storage. Upload links are short-lived and scoped to the signed-in user.
What we collect
We collect the information you submit during the application (name, contact details, education, application answers), assessment artefacts you choose to upload (video, written responses, recordings), and activity needed to run the programme (stage progress, mentor notes, schedule events).
We do not sell your data. We do not use your application content to train third-party AI models.
Who can see your data
Within the programme: assigned mentors, assessors, and Kora Sales Fellowship staff. Outside the programme: our infrastructure providers (managed database, storage, email delivery, and AI scoring) acting under contract on our behalf.
Mentors and assessors are bound by confidentiality expectations as part of joining the programme.

For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, or to report a suspected security issue, email fellowship@korahq.com. Please include enough detail for us to locate your application without sharing your password.
